BPO Med is the amalgamation of IQ Health , SuperMed and HealthSource Africa. This newly formed entity is owned by Nedcor , Investec and HCI. BPO Med has over 50 man years of Healthcare experience in its directorship made up of Kalpana Parshotam, Chris Sinclair and Pieter Van Tonder.

Chris Sinclair

Armed with enthusiasm, determination and professionalism, Chris grew and co-managed IQ Health, which was launched in December 1998. IQ Health has since amalgamated with SuperMed and HealthSource Africa to form BPO Med.

Chris is a Chartered Accountant, who graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), in Johannesburg. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree, Honours Diploma in Computer Auditing and is a Certified Informations Systems Auditor.

Pieter Van Tonder

Previously, Pieter spent five years with the BBR Security Group originally joining as Financial Manager and ultimately assuming Group CFO role, as well as operational responsibility for the Gauteng SBU. He formed part of the management/shareholder team that sold the business to SuperGroup during 1997.

He joined BBR after having left Andersen as a senior manager in the Audit and Business advisory unit during 1994 after several years in the profession.

Dedicated and well-qualified, Pieter graduated as a Chartered Accountant from the Randse Afrikaanse Universiteit (RAU), in Johannesburg. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) (Honours) and CTA part-time whilst in the employ of the South African Airways to which he had bursary-employment commitments.
